Режим WDS на AIR-DUO-G

Имеем схему (см рисунок). Роутеры R1 и R2 обновлены до текущей (11.08.2020) версии, настройки сброшены. Далее, сделаны минимальные настройки для проверки режима WDS, а именно заданы ip адреса: у первого 192.168.2.1 , у второго 192.168.2.2; задан ключ wifi (11111111); оба переведены в режим AP-bridge; в настройках WDS задан диапазон 5ГГц, ключ AES (88888888) и у первого режим LAZY, у второго режим REPITER,  и указан BSID 5ГГц первого. Так как роутеры пока к локалке не подключены, адреса от dhcp они не получают, и используют адреса, что заданы у них в настройке LAN. Конфиги прилагаю.

Результат: WDS не работает. (Проверяю разъединением шнура между роутерами, и пингом обоих роутеров - пинг с ноута проходит только до ближайшего в цепочке роутера, также смотрю в интерфейсах - интерфейса wds0 нет, в журналах обоих нет ничего про wds, пардон, что-то есть).

Проверялось двумя ноутами, с подключением по эзернет, ip - static. Почему двумя:  при изменении на роутерах вроде-бы безобидных настроек(не связанных с их ip адресами, например настройка диапазона на вкладке wds), роутеры после применения настроек не просто не пускают в UI, а даже не пингуются (оба). При этом, ноуты, подключенные через них (как на схеме), друг друга пингуют. Лечиться это только выкл/вкл роутеров. Ни вытыкание кабеля из ноута и его переподключение, ни перезагрузка ноута, ни диагностика подключения (очистка арп и тд, что она там делает) - не помогает. Вот для проверки того, что ноут не причём, был подключен второй ноут. После перезагрузки роутеров, пинг до них восстанавливается, UI работает, и мы видим, что настройки. изменённые на предыдущей итерации сохранены. Проверил несколько раз, эффект стабильный. Уточняю: речь идёт именно про эту конкретную схему, и роутеры в режиме AP-bridge.

Прошу проверить эту ситуацию.

Петли, которая могла бы мешать пинговать роутеры, и положить сетёшку, не было. Да тогда и ноуты между собой бы не пинговались, и это не лечилось бы перезагрузкой роутеров. Кроме того, я отключал кабель между роутерами для проверки.

Если нет DHCP в сети, то логично что в настройках LAN должна быть снята галка получения параметров по DHCP и адреса каждой АП заданы руками фиксированно. Отсюда и потеря доступа. Либо задавайте руками, либо DHCP. Если оставить DHCP, а сервера не будет в сети, то при следующем запуске логики получите перезд роутера в Zeroconf подсеть. Если склероз не мучает.

Остальное попробую проверить на следующей неделе. Сейчас увы возможности нет.

Прошу пояснить туповатому мне ситуацию, которая похоже Вам кажется нормой, а мне не понятна. На примере этого кейса, где это хорошо видно.

Вот есть примененный конфиг, успешно работающий в части доступа к ui. Далее мы делаем незначительные изменения, допустим радио косметически правим, применяем и получаем недоступность ui. Делать нечего, перезагружаем, и опять все норм, только что сделанные изменения сохранились, и они уже почему то не препятствуют доступу к ui.
Так как же ошибки в настройке LAN (например dhcp) могут то влиять, то не влиять, и это будет нормальным проявлением?

Какова вообще концепция сохранения настроек и их применения?

Еще призовой вопрос - как произвести все нужные настройки разом, не дожидаясь выполнения переинициализации всего хозяйства после каждого дискретного изменения? Вот например изменить LAN и задать пароль wifi.

Хм. Да, дело было в галке "try dhcp" . Но,  с установленной галкой, при подаче питания ведь он берёт настройки LAN с соответствующей вкладки, если не может получить по dhcp, что логично. А при применении изменений,  он эти настройки уже игнорирует, и если не получает корректных по dhcp, то использует autoip. Это фича?

По поводу срочности - не горит...

Да, дело в том, что если бы алгоритм присвоения адреса в случае невозможности получить по dhcp(при установленной галке "try dhcp")  был конкретный: или autoip или мануальные настройки всегда - было-бы предсказуемо. А так - я что-то и не сообразил, что по разному он себя ведёт при холодном старте и при применении настроек.

На правах брюзжания)) :

Может тогда галку, в настройках LAN, следовало-бы переименовать в "Use DHCP", вместо "Try use DHCP", а поля статических настроек затемнить, ибо они становятся не актуальны(правда не сразу), ибо иначе путает - ведь мы понимаем это как "попытаться использовать DHCP, а если не получилось, то статика", а получается "используем DHCP в любом случае".  Но лучше, конечно, чтобы алго был именно такой, что если получить по dhcp не получилось, то используются статические, а вот если и статические не заданы (правда веб UI так сделать не даст, но вдруг у кого-то получится), то тогда auto ip.

Или предупреждалку некую, просьба, написать, что именно при "при следующем(1й после powerup не считается) запуске логики получите перезд роутера в Zeroconf подсеть". Вобщем, для "вантузятника", коим я являюсь, сие поведение не очевидно.

Да я тут уже думал как лучше сделать, но оно всё имеет побочки. Сейчас логика аналогична одной энтерпрайзной железяке.

Благо основной кейз это роутер с DHCP+несколько AP, в роутере в NetDiag видно куда АП занесло по адресам.

 

Так. Логику AP DHCP переделал, убегать в zeroconf будет только если адрес занят и отвечает на арпинг. (будет в следующей версии).

С WDS вижу траблу в 5ГГц. Драйвер не регистрирует wdsi* интрефейсы, буду посмотреть. В 2.4 проблемы быть не должно, но не проверял пока. Разберусь почему в DBDC режиме 7615 не регает 5ГГц интерфейсы для WDS тады проверим.

Остальные устройства т.к. не в DBDC режиме работают а имеют отдельные чипы по бэндам проблеме не подвержены.

Пысиб, ждём.

Пока не за что. WDS в DBDC оказалось недопиленным. Автотесты поправил для проверки. Надо либо реализовать самому (поддержку dbdc для wds) что проще, но сейчас загрузка под завязку. Либо пнуть китайцев (MTK) ибо их косяк и пусть пилят. Тем более для 7915 судя по всему это уже сделано.

Сейчас там тупо в WDS кто был default band то и будет.

Думаю поступим так, пнём китайцев, если до момента как освобожусь не пришлют обновление дров - знач сяду и сделаю свою реализацию. Вот уверен что это уже поправлено, но по какой-то причине опять таки затягивают резину с доступом к >5.0.4.0 для 7615..

В общем переадресовал коллегам, будут разбираться.
